# Change / Remove Tool

### Find Machine Hard home

1 . Press Shift <img src="/files/51YW6UxBQltnete3hTfo" alt="" data-size="line">and Go Home <img src="/files/Cm77tFLFnyuROpQ9qmX6" alt="" data-size="line"> on the keypad to the index gantry , carriage , and Z assembly .

2 . Press Shift <img src="/files/VmGIQuo7SC21XV1fGPGc" alt="" data-size="line"> and Five <img src="/files/kUrGPpeSUA76FpXnUFbq" alt="" data-size="line"> to open the chuck and remove the tool from the tool changer&#x20;

### Changing / removing Tool and Collet&#x20;

1 . Take out the Tool Holder and open it by turning the Collet nut and the end with two wrenches.

2 . Take out the toolbit and unscrew the tool holder to seperate collet and chuck.

3 . Select the size of the Collet and the tool bit to be inserted and test by inserting the tool in collet.

4 . After deciding itis the correct size , Place the collet in the collet nut and insert the toolbit and assemble the Tool holder by srewing back .

5 . Tighten the Tool holder by using wrencehs and place the Tool holder back in the same place.
