Are there any prerequisites or prior experience required for the workshops?
No, anyone who satisfies the age criteria set for each course and its level can attend.
Can I register for a workshop that has already started?
Yes. Please check the schedule of the workshop accordingly and register.
Is there parking available at the workshop venue?
Yes, you can secure a parking spot by booking and paying for it separately.
Are virtual workshops available as an alternative to in-person sessions?
Currently, no such provision is available. We are continuously improving our curriculum based on the feedback. We understand that some may be located outside Hyderabad and would want to attend, but we will take such requests on a case-by-case basis.
Are there any materials or tools I need to bring for the workshop?
You can bring your own consumables provided they are safe and permissible (read the handbook). It is your responsibility to keep your materials safe.
Can I access resources or support after completing a workshop?
You can access the facility and resources by applying for a Maker Pass.

What is a Maker Pass?
The Makers Pass is a membership designed for individual makers who want access to T-Works. Access to India’s largest prototyping centre. Access to Sophisticated equipment, become a part of the community of hobbyists, makers, artists, designers.
How can I apply for a Maker Pass at T-Works?
The application process involves filling out an online. We ask for basic details such as what you want to make, the facilities you will tentatively use and so on and what you have made in the past.
Is Maker Pass open to all? Why do we need to apply for a Maker Pass?
This is a beta program, the first time we are opening to individual makers. We will be actively seeking feedback to better our processes, systems and the offering. In future the maker pass will be open to all without needing an application process.
As a startup, can I bulk buy maker passes for my team? How do I know if I get selected ?
Maker passes are currently for individual makers only. However, we will be launching a program tailored specifically for startups soon. For inquiries about bulk purchases, please reach out to us at membership@tworks.in with your startup name and member details.
Can I bring my own materials for prototyping, or are materials provided?
You can bring your own consumables provided it is safe and permissible (read the handbook ). Members have access to a retail shop and T-Works' supply network to source materials. You are free to bring your own materials but make sure your membership experience champion is duly informed before bringing the material to T-Works. It is your responsibility to keep your materials safe.
Can I bring my own tools?
We are continuously increasing the availability of tools and other resources at T-Works. We understand that in some cases you may want to bring your own tools that are currently not available or accessible in the facility. We will take such requests on a case by case basis. Please get in touch with your Member Experience Champion for such requests.
Is this a co-working space?
T-Works is not a co-working space. The intent of the Maker Pass is to enable individual makers to build products and prototypes using the equipment and services available. We disallow use of the pass to get a co-working space as it will prevent access for legitimate makers.
How can I protect confidential work?
T-Works does not take responsibility for IP protection. Individuals must safeguard their product’s IP independently.
Is there a minimum age requirement for obtaining a Maker Pass?
The Maker Pass is applicable for individuals aged 18 years and above.
Will T-Works be operational on Sunday?
Currently, we operate from Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 10 pm. However, we are actively working towards making T-Works operational on Sundays in the future.
Why annual membership? Why commit for a whole year?
While our aim to offer shorter membership options in the future, this is the first time T-Works is opening up the facility for individual makers outside of structured programs. We prioritize a balance between safety and freedom, trusting our processes to evolve with time. We seek partners committed to T-Works as more than a service provider, contributing to enhancing the Maker Pass experience before it's open to all. The first 50 makers joining us will be pivotal partners, collaborating closely to ensure a meaningful, safe, and productive experience.
Is a refund possible for the membership fee?
No, this program is strictly non-refundable. We recommend visiting the facility, understanding T-Works offerings, and then enrolling.
Can I delay using my credits after enrolling?
Due to high demand and limited slots, we advise applying only if you intend to use the facility immediately. Further enrollment can be considered in the future as and when new slots open up.
Can I conduct workshops at T-Works using the Maker Pass ?
The intent of the Maker Pass is to enable individual makers to build products and prototypes using the equipment and services available. If you wish to conduct workshops, please contact workshops@tworks.in to know how we can help make it happen.
What if I want to sell a product created at T-Works?
Yes, you can sell products you make at T-Works, but mass manufacturing is not allowed in T-Works. Ensure your product doesn't infringe on intellectual property (IP) and make sure your Membership Experience Champion is informed. Since this is a commercial activity, you must ensure your product has a ‘Made at T-Works’ notation on the product and packaging.
Can I use conference and board rooms?
The conference and board rooms located on floor Z are reserved for T-Works employees.
