The system accepts DXF file for 2D operations STL file for operations in 3D. Along with that STEP file is also necessary to perform the operations.

Instructoins for designers

Requirements for Optimum design

1. The designs can be made in vector software like Adobe Illustrator or it can be done using other CAD software’s like Fusion 360 but it has to be exported to a DXF file.

2. The STEP file before converting into DXF is also needed to check for any errors before machining.

3. In case of 3D drawings , STL file is needed.

4. Routings cant be done to the sides and bottom of object .

5. Carving , grooving , engraving , routing, milling operations can be done but the operations involving 3D Designs will take much longer time. Ex: Rough pass will take around 6 hrs.

6. Extra designs or attachments which are not a part of the product should not be done.

7. Only the design of the required object should be given keeping point (6) in mind.

8. The design should be with 0 tolerances. i.e. considering the design only as lines and not leaving any extra spaces or gaps unless they are a part of design .

9. Soft wood such as Rubber wood, pine , white wood , red wood are used for packaging .Hard wood is used for Products and structures. Ply wood is used for interiors.

10. Bed size of the machine is 5 X 10 ft and the max height reach of the machine is

100 mm . So the sheets of materials under these sizes can be machined.

11. Can cut Soft wood , Hard wood and plywood of Thickness ranging from MIN 1mm to MAX 90mm

Since the maximum height of the Beam is 100mm, Materials of thickness 90 mm can be cut on the machine considering height of the tool bit as well

12 . Tool bit sizes range from Min 3mm to Max 22 mm.

13. The thickness range which can be cut is from MIN 1mm to MAX 5mm for carbon fibre.

14. Can cut non ferrous ranging from MIN 2mm to MAX 10mm thickness.
